In the evening of 21st of June 1928 a fire broke out at oil well No. 81 Creditul Minier from Schela Mare, Moreni. Although quickly attempts were made to limit the fire, it soon spread to other wells. Oil wells No. 82 and No. 91, bouth belonging of ''Company Creditul Roman'' were destroyed by the flames. The damages amounted to 2,000,000 lei. ''Creditul Minier'' oil wells destroyed by the blaze :
